All designs are the copyright and property of Designed By Joe. Neither you, nor a third party may copy any part of the design or reproduce it without permission from Designed By Joe.
It is your responsibility to obtain any copyright material, for example poems or hymns that you would like to feature as part of your order.
Quotes and Deposits
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
For bespoke orders, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any design work takes place. The balance is required to be paid in full before any printing starts.
Standard orders are usually processed between 2 to 3 working days.
Greetings cards are dispatched within 1 working day.
Personalised wedding stationery will vary depending on the design and the level of customisation. In general it can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks.
Once payment has been received, plus all the required information to create your design, you will be emailed an electronic proof of your design within 7 working days. Updates to your designs after the first proof take 2-3 days. Once you have approved your proof, your design will be printed and dispatched within 10 working days by second class recorded post. Postage upgrades are available for urgent jobs.
Bespoke designs will again vary depending on what is required by the customer. In general on receipt of a 50% deposit payment and all wording for your items, you will be provided with an electronic proof of your design within 21 working days. Updates to your designs after the first proof take 5-10 days. Once you have approved your proof, balance payment is required. On receipt of balance payment your design will be printed and dispatched within 14 working days by second class post. Postage upgrades are available for urgent jobs.
Proofs and revisions
For personalised designs, the price you pay includes up to four revised proofs, after these, revisions will be charged at £20 each.
For bespoke designs, the price you pay includes up to ten revised proofs, after this, revisions will be charged at an hourly rate of £40.
You are responsible for the proof reading of all text, spelling and grammar when approving your proofs. We strongly recommend that you print your proof in order to view it at the correct size. We will not begin print production until we have received written consent from you referencing the correct proof to proceed with.
We cannot offer refunds for personalised wedding stationery and/or any personalised and bespoke orders.
50% of the overall cost, or the deposit cost of all wedding stationery and/or personalised orders are non-refundable after order confirmation. In addition, wedding stationery and/or personalised orders may not be cancelled or refunded after final proofs have been approved. Once you have provided final approval of your wedding stationery and/or personalised order, we cannot accept returns due to errors. By approving your final proof you accept responsibility for the information, wording and layout as shown. If errors are discovered after proof approval, we are required to charge for a reprint at the minimum quantity.
Returns cannot be accepted due to typographical errors or customer detail input errors. Once your final proof is approved you accept responsibility for any errors. If mistakes are found after the final proof, and your items need to be reprinted, there will be a charge for any reprinting.
Standard orders such as cards can be cancelled. If it is prior to dispatch we will refund any payment taken. If after dispatch (within 30 days), please return goods and you will be refunded. To cancel an order please email email@example.com
We are unable to refund postage costs
Damaged / faulty items
Any damaged or faulty goods must be notified to us by email within 5 days of receipt. Any damaged or faulty goods must be returned to us to be checked and verified before a refund is issued. If your items are deemed faulty we will be happy to replace them or if this is not possible, replace them with an alternative. If it is not possible to correct your order then a refund will be offered.
Printing / colour variations
Printed colours will always differ very slightly to those seen on screen. If unsure about a colour please view on as many different devices as possible. Make sure you are viewing with your screen set to the correct brightness.
Printed colours can also vary between print runs.
Designed By Joe accepts no responsibility for the effect of age and general wear and tear on products and materials used.
Personalised and bespoke items will be sent via second class post (within the UK) using a tracked and signed for service.
Standard orders will be sent via Royal Mail second class unsigned.
Designed By Joe shall not be liable for late delivery on the part of the courier.
Designed By Joe is not responsible for any custom fees or duties incurred on international shipments as these are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. To find out more information about rules, regulations and rates, please contact your local customs office.
